Worship and celebrations

Puja / Worship:

Temple timings: 4:30 am to 12:00 noon and 3:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Daily puja is performed in the temple from 7:30 to 08:45 am. This worship of Sri Ramakrishna has been arranged in the order by Swami Ramakrishnananda, a direct disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Himself.

Ramanama Sankirtanam is sung on Ekadasi days between 5.30 and 6.30 pm.

Apart from the above daily worship-service, special worships and homam etc. are performed on the birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda and on Guru Purnima.

Special worship is also performed on festivals like Sri Krishna Janmashtami, Shivaratri, Durga Puja  etc.


 Weekly  Discourse  &  Spiritual Retreat

Weekly discourses are held at the Vivekananda Vijana Bhavan(our city centre). Swami Nandatmajananda has been holding discourses on the Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna. In addition, Sri Natesan holding classes on Yogs Sutra.
Monthly retret is held on every second Sunday in Main centre. Discourses on Upanishad,Bhagavad Gita , Gospel of Sri Ramakrisna & Karma yoga by monks and eminent schloar of our order.
Annual retreat is conducted in main centre for more than 50 years. This is residential camp for 3 to 5 days having lectures , bhajan, Drama and question/answer session

Balaka Sanga is weekly class for children from 5th to 9th classes on Moral, Spritual, Yoga,Chanting & Music
Yuva Sanga is gathering of youth monthly once. Reading from Swami Vivekananda followed by discussion.
Youth Camp is conducted every year for school & college students. & Vivekananda Study Circle
